劇中に登場することはなかったものの、放映当時には各所で商品化された「VF－1J」以外のアーマードバルキリー。
「超時空要塞マクロス」が持つ世界観はそのようなバリエーション機体も実在感を持って受け入れられた。
今回は特別仕様として、TAMASII NATION2020 で展示された「VF－1S」専用のカラーリングのアーマードパーツで登場。
